- DisabilityCroydon Information Helpline — 020 8684 5538 — information and advice on disability related matters.
- Alternative format service — Large print, tape, disk, or Braille translations at very reasonable costs and prompt response times.
- Quarterly "Croydon Vision" Magazine available in a range of accessible formats and distributed FREE to members of DisabilityCroydon and local community organisations.
- Direct Payments Support Service 020 8664 3820 — advice, information and support for people setting up a Direct Payment for the first time or thinking about receiving their social care in the form of a cash Direct Payment.
- RADAR keys for accessible toilets.
- Professional advocacy service in partnership with Age Concern Croydon focusing on issues affecting people (including older people) with physical disability and/or sensory impairment.
- "Have Your Say" consultation project, for structured surveys on topical issues affecting people with disabilities, and using professional research methods.
- Training courses on independent living topics, including the Social Model of Disability and Meeting the Needs of Disabled Customers.
- Training in computers and assistive technology — 10 courses available including introduction to email and internet, and how to use the JAWS screen reader.
- Access audits for organisations or staff teams aimed at increasing awareness of statutory responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act and increasing access to services from customers with disabilities.
- Organising themed meetings and seminars, fully accessible for people with disabilities on commissioned topics.
- Support for community projects run by people with disabilities.
