How to obtain a key that gives access to all of the disabled toilets in the borough and throughout Britain.

The National Key Scheme which is operated by RADAR, offer independent access for disabled people to over 5,000 locked public toilets throughout Britain. These toilets are clearly signed with the international disability symbol and are opened using a key which can be purchased by disabled people.

Keys can be obtained from DisabilityCroydon, Room 2.07 Strand House, Zion Road, Thornton Heath, Surrey CR7 8RG at a cost of £4.00 which includes postage and packing.

You are required to sign a declaration that the key is for use by a disabled person, this qualifies for zero rate of VAT.
