Croydon Keystrokes
DisabilityCroydon and St Oswald’s Parish Church have been awarded a grant by the Croydon Episcopal Area Grants Programme towards making computers more accessible for disabled people in the Borough.
Outreach advice, and technical help for disabled people in the use of computers, with open days, computer hardware loan, and development of accessible website training exercises are all part of this new project which runs for one year until April 2010.
DisabilityCroydon additionally provide training at Cornerstone House IT Suite on Saturday mornings (open session) and Monday afternoons (for the Community Access Service) .

Croydon Keystrokes 2009
Keystrokes will provide outreach including technical help and training for disabled people to enjoy the benefits of using a computer eg email, internet, storing photos, shopping.
Organise open days and demonstrations of accessible computer hardware and software.
Loan out recycled computer hardware.
Develop website information and training tools for people to access independently.
St Oswald's will offer pastoral support for disabled people in need and spread awareness of St Oswald's and other churches' community activities and support in the Croydon area.
